Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the time. At her first attempt and placing within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix graduated from her high school year in 2003 and became a part of Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics, which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record the 200m race in 22.18 secs. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to win the 200 meter race. She defended that title, beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She consistently placed at the top of the podium in the events.
