Aisha Jamila Hinds has been an American actress for more than 10 years. Her roles include The Shield as well as True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proved her versatility as an actress by giving remarkable performances in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. Her performance in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her notice. Her first recognition came from her role in the 2005 biographical documentary All the Way. Hind's performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's time-based drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. Hind recently wrapped up filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will release around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj passed away in March of 2017 after a long career as a scientist with the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother, is a homemaker. Aditya is her brother, and is an engineer in the merchant navy. The brother of Bachchan wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. The family moved to Mumbai in the city, where she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. She finished her secondary education at Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% for her H.S.C. exams. In her teens she spent five years studying classical music and dancing. Her most loved course was Zoology. Bachchan at the time, studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. This was an honor that catapulted Bachchan into the fast-lane of modeling. Her contract was lucrative for Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc. as well as a L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. With praised roles such as Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997) the actress's acting career got off to an excellent starting point. Bachchan became the face of New Bollywood with these films that challenged Bollywood's fundamental structure. Bachchan was made the Queen Of Bollywood due to her heartbreaking performance as Paro, who is the love of her life character in Devdas (2002), one of Bollywood's biggest-hitting films. Devdas also happened to be the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2006, Bachchan returned to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star and daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most influential personalities together.
